Ben Schooley coached junior high before becoming the Chariton High School Boys Varsity Basketball Coach.  He also coaches CHS varsity golf and junior high football.
Ben graduated from Davis County High School and is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa.  He teaches 8th grade Social Studies.
He and his wife live in Chariton and have a 2 year old son and another on the way.  Ben enjoys playing golf in his free time.

Our friends on the east coast are suffering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy.  At this time, we are appealing for financial help that will be distributed among about six Rotary Districts  in the affected area.  Donations can be made to the District 6000 Humanitarian and Educational Foundation (501 3C account) and will be eligible to receive tax credit for the donation.
