Click here to read The Adventures of Cammeo

Cammeo Medici is a Chariton native and a graduate of Chariton High School.  Our club sponsored her as an Outbound Youth Exchange student to Italy in 2003-04.

Cammeo has incredible gratitude for the Youth Exchange opportunity and experience that she says truly defined the path she has taken since then, in regards to choosing to study International Relations at Drake, study abroad in South Africa, work for Iowa Council for International Understanding, serve as a volunteer in mission in Peru and Bolivia, pursue her Master's in Public Health, and apply for the 2012-13 Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship which she received.  She is currently in Begota, Columbia studying towards her Master's in Public Health at the University of Columbia.

Cammeo said she had aspirations and goals for her life that she had never dreamed of prior to the year of her Youth Exchange in Italy.   Her gratitude to Rotary is what has motivated her to stay so closely connected to this organization.
