RI has introduced an updated website for you to visit to gather information about Rotary projects, activities, events and educational opportunities.

Each Rotary member should access RI at www.rotary.org and click on the "My Rotary" tab.
This will ask you to log onto the website with your current credentials (same ones you use to access the Admin section of our website).   In most cases this is  First Name.Last Name. If you are unable to access RI's site, you can contact RI from their home page, or contact an officer who can look up your log in name from the Admin section of our website.

The new site is much sharper and provides easier access to the many different aspects of Rotary International.  You are now able to edit your personal information, add a picture, join Rotary Groups, contribute, edit/change e-mail addresses, exchange ideas with other Rotary members plus many, many more options.    Visit the site often to learn more about the site and Rotary itself.

The Rotary Board will meet Friday at 11 a.m. on Sept. 13th at Carpenter's Hall.

This is an easy way to make up a missed meeting and to learn more about Rotary.

Backpack Buddies is a very popular program that has become well known across the state.  As a result, unfortunately, there are many independent “Backpack Buddies” programs operating throughout the state.  Many of these programs run very differently than the program that the Food Bank of Iowa coordinates, with some programs having little oversight and not much in the line of guidelines by which they must run.  In order to protect the integrity of what is a national program, the integrity of the Food Bank of Iowa and the integrity of all our BackPack Program™ partners, using the trademark protected BackPack Program™ has become a necessary move.  Making this shift protects all of us from any undue criticism or other negative messaging that could come should one of these independent programs experience any kind of noteworthy problems.  In the long run, we believe making this shift now is best for everyone involved.  We have a new BackPack Program™ logo (which can be found on our website) and changes to our printed materials.
