Please Note - This weeks meeting 2nd March is being held at the Kooringal Golf Clubhouse, Winga Avenue, Altona after the golf day 6pm for 6.30pm start . (be sure to leave enough time to get over the bridge).

   Wednesday 2nd March 2011 the Rotary Club of Albert Park will be running its

 Annual Charity Golf Day .
This year the club is supporting Windermere & Polio Plus

An 18 Hole Ambrose Golf Competition will be run at the Kooringal Golf Club, Wilga Avenue, Altona. http://www.kooringalgolf.com.au/ This year there has been a hugh success of participants and sponsers and we look forward to our entrants teeing off at 12.30 after an 11.30 BBQ lunch.

After the game there will of course be prize presentations followed by a two course dinner, guest speaker, auction and raffle prizes.

Last week we once again had Michael Dee speak at our meeting.  Last year Michael gave us a most impressive presentation about Superpowers USA v China. 
Last week Michael spoke on the topic "The Basis of Investing". Founder and CEO of Harvesting Funds Management, a Australian Specialist  who is a Funds Manager in direct listed (and unlisted) investments  spoke about the markets, their fluctuation over the years and the best time to buy and sell. Michael was most interesting and informative and we would like to thank him very much for speaking at our meeting.
