RCAP Annual Book Fair

Last weekend The Rotary Club of Albert Park once again held their Annual Book Fair at the Albert Park Primary School. Dispite very wet and cold conditions many people braved the outside elements to come and support the Fair  buying many of the books we had to offer.

1000's and 1000's of books were for sale, Softbacks, Hardbacks, Collectables' Classic' Crime' Australiana' Sport' Romance' Sci Fi' Fantasy' Childrens' Lit' Art' History' Photography' Cookbooks' Wine ' Gardening' CD's DVD's  and more.

A big thankyou to Greig McEwan and Henry Michaelsen who have worked tirelessly over the past few weeks, picking up books, boxing books, putting books in catergories, collecting boxes,  ensuring all was ready for the Book Fair Day.  A thankyou must also go to all of the members and partners who helped contribute in one way or another for this Book Fair to succeed.

you can contact Brian Beaumont on 0419 308 410 as he will be more than happy to assist you.

We are seeking the assistance of Rotary members, Rotary Clubs, Rotarians and non-Rotarians with businesses, who could contribute to the 2011 Conference with a supporters grant of $1000.00 to minimise the Conference costs. Individual support would also be welcome.

Companies, Clubs and individuals will have their names printed on a pop-up banner in the House of Friendship, displayed on the overhead screens, as well as being listed in the Conference Directory as "Conference Supporters", also included in the Conference satchels and listed in the Networker/website.

This is an ideal way of supporting the Conference and keeping the registration costs to a minimum, given the very difficult task of finding suitable sponsors.
