This week's Program:
"The Four Way Test Speech Contest"
Participants in this morning's
Four Way Test Speech contest.
From the earliest days of the organization, Rotarians were concerned with promoting high ethical standards in their professional lives. One of the world's most widely printed and quoted statements of business ethics is The 4-Way Test, which was created in 1932 by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor (who later served as RI president) when he was asked to take charge of a company that was facing bankruptcy.
This 24-word test for employees to follow in their business and professional lives became the guide for sales, production, advertising, and all relations with dealers and customers, and the survival of the company is credited to this simple philosophy. Adopted by Rotary in 1943,
The 4-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways and how our club closes each meeting.

Of course, anyone who would like to know more about our Club is invited,as well.

PLANT A TREE AND SEND US A PHOTO OF YOUR WORK
One of RI President Ian Riseley has announced that he would like each and every Rotarian to plant a tree this year. It doesn't matter what kind of tree, or how big it is! Just plant a tree.
Can you imagine the impact this would have on the world? If all 1.3 Million Rotarians plant a tree, the world will benefit from having Mother Nature help cleanse the air, create more oxygen, and beautify the Earth.
You van purchase a quality tree by going to COSTCO. They have trees for less than $18!
This time of year is great for planting trees, plus we would like our Club to be one of the first to be 100% in participation. We do have a few members who have offered to plant your tree for you if you need assistance.
We need to have this project completed by April 22, 2018.
After you have planted your tree, please take a photo of you and your tree and send it to Dwayne Lee, Director of Administration. Please email the photo to:

So you see, there really is no valid excuse for you not having PERFECT ATTENDANCE.
But there is one major step to ensure your make-up is validated - you must report it to Club Secretary Sheri Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org
