Kat serves as a Financial Advisor to clients in all aspects of financial planning and investments. She strives to address holistic financial needs of clients by utilizing her legal background and dedication to delivering skillful service.
Credentials
Kat joined First National Bank in May of 2019 after extensive work with Bank of America Private Bank as a Trust Officer in Providence, Rhode Island. She has also worked in risk management and at a boutique trusts and estates firm.
Kat currently holds her Series 7 and Series 66 securities registrations. Kat obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Champlain College and a Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School and holds an admission to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Passions
In her free time, you can find Kat skiing, paddle boarding and camping with her husband Chris and their chocolate Labrador Retriever named Chip. She also makes time for cooking and entertaining friends and family. Kat has a deep sense of community and enjoys giving back. She is involved in the CU Mentor program for undergraduates and the Boulder Rotary club.
I feel passionate about being entrusted to help clients navigate through a sensitive time, whether it be dealing with a loss, or preserving family wealth and honoring a legacy, I am there to provide support.

In his own endeavors, he proudly supports organizations that help children grow up happy and healthy. He personally supports his local children’s hospital and various charities dedicated to sending underprivileged kids to college.
The one item on Matt’s bucket list still to be checked off is climbing one of Colorado’s many fourteeners.

Update by President Dennis Gellhaus

I was reading a devotion this week by Brian McLaren.
He writes;
“We are to be grateful not just in the good times, but
also in the bad times; to be grateful not just in plenty, but
also in need; to maintain thankfulness not just in laughter,
but also through tears and sorrow.”

We move into December grateful for all of life, knowing
that what surrounds us is the spirit of love, no matter our
circumstances.

Looking forward to the scholarship dinner next week and
sharing our commitment to service.

Thanks for listening.
Dennis
