The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Vicki McLean, Director of Dance for the Lone Star Ballet, brought us today's program and entertainment in preparation for the upcoming production of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow that will be performed at the Globe News Center for the Performing Arts on October 26 and 27. We got a sneak peak of a dance performed by one of the area's ballerinas who will be in the production. A "pumpkin dance" will feature 18 freshly carved and illuminated pumpkins on stage this year. The Ballet Academy has 5 satellite locations around the Panhandle and currently has dancers ages 3 through 62! Amarillo is blessed to have a community full of talent and generosity to bring the Arts to life! Thanks to the Lone Star Ballet for the program and also for the 2 tickets to the production that were given to Bob Russell with the winning ticket.
