Interact Club
Interact members members present today include Rosario Testaverde and Brianna Napolitano. Rosario spoke about school activities, family and future plans.
Makeups
No makeups were reported today.
Rotarians can now make up on line. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup. Please hand your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.
Birthdays & Anniversaries
Steve Dexter, Tracy O'Neil and Brad Pierce all celebrated their birthday today. David Slade is celebrating the anniversary of his hip replacement. John Dugger was happy to be celebrating and participating in the 2nd Annual Chamber of Commerce House and Garden Show.
Vacations
John Rando spent 2 weeks in Key Largo, Florida. Rick Doucette drove to Vermont. Joe Parisi was forced to attend a seminar at some casino. Joe decided to try his hand at blackjack and won $700.
Happy Thoughts
David Stotzer was happy to report that all the City of Gloucester variances needed for his home expansion are in place, and now construction can begin. Roger Armstrong was happy to be going on vacation. Ruth Pino was happy the 2nd Annual Home and Garden Show was another success this year. Ruth also thanked Rotary members who volunteered their time to staff the Chamber booth. Dan Ottenheimer was happy his daughter's Bas Mitzvah went well. Sal Frontiero was happy his mother won a TV at the Chamber Home and Garden Show.
Fines
Barry Pett was fined for an photo in the Manchester Cricket. Rotarians who did not attend the Home and Garden Show were fined. President Don fined members who had vanity plates on their vehicles. Joe Parisi was fined for selling bark mulch that was still frozen. Barry Pett was fined by President Don for "burning rubber" when leaving the Elk's parking lot. President Don paid the fine since the Cadillac "hot rod " was purchased at Sudbay Motors.
Club News
Steve Kaity announced today that fellow Rotarian John Rando will donate the $7500 needed to cap the Stage Fort Children's Park project. John's donation will pay for shrubs and flowers needed to complete our Centennial Project. Thank you, John, for getting us across the finish line!
The club will be on the road for our meeting on April 17th. We will meet at the Gloucester Seafood Auction on Harbor Loop. A tour and demonstration on how the auction works is on the agenda. (I hope a seafood lunch is on the menu.) (Note to Julie: a tuna fish sandwich does not count!)

Winners and Losers... Bruce Horne gave an ABC of Rotary Moment. Dan Ottenheimer won the money, and Tony Corrao won the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
