Speaker Today: One needs to mark milestones that the Gloucester Rotary Club makes through the years. Today's lunch was one of those milestones. As everyone knows, the Paul Harris Award is the most prestigious award the club can give out. The awards are given out in two ways: one is by the selection of a candidate by the Paul Harris Committee (made up of all former Paul Harris Fellows). The second is by donating $1,000 to the Rotary Foundations which many have been doing by giving $100 a year to the Foundation. Today, Shirley Conway and Sinikka Nogelo reached that $1000 donation mark.
Steve Kaity presented Shirley Conway with her medal. Sinikka Nogelo, a past Paul Harris recipient, presented her medal to Marty Morgan for Marty's work on the Food Pantry's Open Bowl Fundraiser. Congrats to all.
