Interact Club

The Interact Club members present are Victoria Hilshey and Louisa Brown, who spoke about herself and future plans.

 

Makeups

 

10 makeups were reported today.  Jim Marr made up at Sanibel Island, Florida, Kim Spanner made up on line, Carole Sharoff, Ruth Pino, Josh Arnold, Pat Thorpe, Steve Kaity, Brad Pierce, Tony Corrao, and Jon Morse all made up at the 12/01/2009 Board of Director's Meeting. 

    Rotarians can now make up on line. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup.  Please hand  your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.

 

Birthdays and Anniversaries

 

 Jon Morse is celebrating his 28th year of opening up his Gloucester office.  Roger Corbin celebrated his birthday this week.  Tony and Joanne Corrao celebrated a wedding anniversary. 

 

Vacations

 

 Julie Geary spent 2 days in Vermont at a family gathering.  Howard Frisch visited family in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, for a week.  Brad Pierce went to the New York Macy's Parade.  Christopher Farmer spent 2 days on Long Island after making it through a parking lot called the Mass Pike.  Roger Armstrong spent 2 days in Connecticut.  Mike Sarraf  and John Dugger also reported trips.

 

Happy Thoughts

 

President Ruth was happy  Meredith Fine is our new Club Public Relations person.  Joe Ciolino was happy the 2009 Christmas Parade went off very well this year. Joe also thanked Tony Corrao (Thomas the Train), Rudy Macchi (Santa), and Bill Flygare for saving the date for the Boston Fireman's Band without a deposit. Also thanked were  Mike Costello, Joe Parisi, and Brad Pierce for organizing the parade lineup.  Thanks also go to all the sponsors that helped make the parade a reality. Roger Armstrong was happy to go to the Cape Ann Symphony, and to have the opportunity to watch the Patriots play.....and lose.  Tom Dexter was happy to help a client in Pennsylvania.  Dave Stotzer was happy  he could still count to 10 with his fingers after tangling with a table saw.  Dave was also happy with out meat loaf lunch today.  John Dugger was happy   he was a bachelor this week, John was also happy that Ohio State is going to the Rose Bowl.  Carole Sharoff was happy  her son stayed up to 12:01 to go on line to see if got accepted at his college of choice.  (Yes, he did get accepted!)   Christopher Farmer was happy  the Saunder's House of the Sawyer Free Library was wonderfully restored.  Maggie Rosa was happy about a medical card.
