Christopher Farmer had School Committee and City Councilor Elect Greg Verga, City Councilor Elect Bob Whynott,  School Committee members Amy Beth Healy, Val Gilman,  Michelle Sweete,  and School Committee Elect Kathy Clancy and Roger Garborg as his guests today.  Principal Dr. Goodwin, Football Coach Paul Ingram, and 2 member of the GHS's Superbowl Football Champsion Team.  Josh Arnold had Carroll Flarity as his guest, and  Eric Noble had Diane from Senior Home Care Services as his guest.

 

Interact Club

 

The Interact Club members were not present today.

 

Makeups

 

Jim Marr made up in Sanibel, Florida, Eric Noble made up in Rockport and Beverly.

Rotarians can now make up online. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org and allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup. Make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your online makeup, and give your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.

Vacations

 

Jon Morse was happy to have gone to California to help his 97 year old step mother.  All went well for his step mom.  Don Sudbay spent 3 days in Dallas, Texas.

 

Happy Thoughts

 

Barry Pett was happy  the Toy Drive went well this year.   Barry thanked State Senator Bruce Tarr and Todd Tanger for putting it all together.  President Ruth was happy  all of her board members were present today for Rotary. John Dugger was happy about the GHS Mentoring Program, which met this morning.  Sinikka Nogelo was happy that GHS was on Cape Ann TV. Jim Marr was happy to see Dr. Mike today.  David McKechnie was happy that President Ruth won a recognition award.

 

Fines

 

Bruce Horne was fined for not having a badge for our newest member, Scott Smith.

Sheree DeLorenzo is up for next Tuesday's ABC of Rotary Moment, Steve Kaity is first backup, Julie LaFontaine is the second backup, and the third backup is Ray Lamont. Please have your ABC of Rotary Moment ready.

Winners and Losers: Terri Jones gave the Rotary Moment today.  Rick Doucette won the $10.00, Marc Sandler  won the flowers, and no winners in the card raffle today.
