Happy Thoughts
Sinikka Nogelo was happy to wish our guest speaker, Heidi Dallon, a happy birthday today. Heidi and Sinikka share the same birthday in December. Ruth Pino was happy about a Christmas party. Jim Perry was happy to announce the expected arrival of his second grandchild. Jim Marr was happy about the turkey he cooked for Christmas. President Don was happy to be getting his cable back after a 5 day interruption of service. Jon Morse was happy the Patriots made it into the playoffs this year. Bruce Horne was happy to have his daughter home from college, and even happier that she is working during her school break.
Fines
The calendar committee was fined by President Don for not catching the mistake of having two August 30th days and no August 31st. If your birthday is on August 31, you will not be celebrating it this year. Rotarians who have not proposed a new member this year were fined. Steve Dexter was fined for a GHS article. Jon Morse and Steve Dexter were fined for buying new cars. President Don paid the fine because the cars were from Sudbay's.
Club News
George Roark handed a club check to GHS Athletic Director Kim Patience. The check will fund the Rotary Track Meet scheduled for this weekend.

Winners and Losers... No one gave a Rotary Moment. Brad Pierce and Heidi Dallon both won the money, and no one took home the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
Speakers.... Heidi Dallon upsated us about Cape Ann Symphony and Gloucester Stage Company events for the upcoming year.
