Happy Thoughts

President Sinikka's Happy Thought was to thank George Roark for once again putting together the Rotary Track Meet.  Barry Pett was happy to have attended Mike Costello's retirement party.  David Slade was happy his granddaughter was baptized this weekend.  Terri Jones was happy when, over the holiday, her daughter became engaged to be married.  Josh Arnold was happy his daughter was accepted to Merrimac College.  George Roark was not so happy that Carlson Realty is closing down its Cape Ann operation.  Rudy Macchi was happy to have sold his Daytona tickets to Peter Anderson.  Rudy also notified us that Santa has be stored in a box under his bed for another year.  Ruth Pino was happy her son received tickets to this summer's NASCAR race in Louden, New Hampshire.  Mike Linquata was happy to have sold 80 out of the 100 bricks offered up for sale to help the WW2 Memorial.  Steve Kaity was happy Todd Tanger was taking over as the new president of the Chamber of Commerce.

 Fines

President Sinikka fined Ruth Pino and David Slade  for a mistake on this year's Rotary Calendar.  "Goundhog" day has been misplaced!  Members who have never attended a  Rotary track meet were fined.  Ruth Pino asked for Rudy to be fined for making her feel guilty over one of her commercials.  Ruth also asked for Howard Frisch to be fined for the array of corny jokes he told today.  Josh Arnold was fined for talking over President Sinikka.
