The Interact Club members were not present today.

 

Makeups

 

  No makeups were reported today.

 Rotarians can now make up on line. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup.  Please hand  your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.

 

 

Birthdays and Anniversaries

 

 Sinikka Nogelo celebrated her birthday today.  Rick Doucette is celebrating 6 "wonderful" years of marriage. 

 

Vacations

 

  Sue Ellis vacationed in New Hampshire for 2 weeks.  David McKechnie and family spent 5 days helping out in an orphanage in Jamaica .  Tony Corrao spent 5 days in Philadelphia.

 

Happy Thoughts

 

 John Dugger was happy to be number 203 in casting his election ballot today.  Carole Sharoff is happy  construction on the new temple will start in March.  Rick Doucette was happy  the YMCA won first place in the Gloucester Christmas Parade.  Rick was also happy  the YMCA auction went well,  his annual cartwheel went well, and he did not hurt himself.  Sinikka Nogelo was happy  Cape Ann TV camera volunteers Shawn Crowley and Dr. Rick Sagall (both of whom work the Cape Ann Report) could be present today.   Sue Ellis was happy for her son's basket ball team.  Mike Costello was happy  the Wildcats will be playing at a bowl game on New Years Day at 12 pm.  Christopher Farmer had a lovey drive back from Foxboro in the snow after  GHS's Superbowl win. 

 

Fines

 

President Ruth fined Christopher Farmer for not telling her that the high school had a half day on the date of the club's meeting at  GHS. Chris Costello was fined for taking his wife to the YMCA annual dinner and not dancing with his her.  Rick Doucette and Tony Corrao were fined for photo's in the paper.  Bruce Horne was fined for not having a name badge for our newest member. Rotarians who did not go or watch the GHS game on TV  were fined by President Ruth. Rotarian's who bet against the Patriots were fined.  Carole Sharoff fined President Ruth for being awarded the North Shore Realtor or the Year.
