Interact Club
The Interact club members were not present today due to school vacation.
Makeups
Ed Collard made up on line, and Roger Corbin made up in Bedford.
Rotarians can now make up online. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org and allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup. Make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your online makeup, and give your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
No birthdays were reported today. Brad Pierce is celebrating 17 "wonderful" years of marriage. Brad was married on February 14th- a Valentine wedding. Mike Sarraf is celebrating the anniversary of meeting his wife, which also happened on a Valentine's Day! George Roark is celebrating the 40th anniversary of living in his house.
Vacations
Barry Pett spent 9 days in Key West. Christopher Farmer spent 1 day in Philadelphia. Dan Ottenheimer was happy his wife and children were all in Florida. (Dan is enjoying the quiet, and is rumored to be running with scissors at home.)
Happy Thoughts
Pat Thorpe was happy the Docksider's concert at Fuller School (sponsored by Bank Gloucester) all went well. Bruce Horne is happy to have is golf gear on the ready for a Florida vacation.
Fines
Leo Bergerone, our Sargent at Arms, was fined by President Ruth for "insurrection". Leo, next offense could result in facing the firing squad! Rotarians not wearing boots today were fined. President Ruth also gave out a blue shirt fine today. Bruce Horne was fined for not knowing that GHS had a snow day, and his committee all showed up at the high school ( as they were not forewarned by Bruce.) Tony Corrao was also fined for being a no-show for a meeting at the Rose Baker Senior Center.

The Four Elvis Impersonators and Priscilla
"A little less Action, a Little More onversation," - an old Elvis song was the Theme of this year's Chamber dinner.
The Four Elvii (plural of Elvis?) and Priscilla were played by Rick Doucette, Bob Gillis, President Ruth, Steve Kaity, and Howard Frisch.

Can anyone say "hams"? A good time was had by all.

April 8 Interact will hold a Pizza-Off at Cruiseport to determine who make the best pizza in town!
April 10 Spaghetti Suppper , Saturday April 10th at the Rose Baker Senior Center, the time is 4:00 PM to 6PM
May 1 Paint and Scrape the Band Stand at Stage Fort Park - Saturday starting at 6:30 AM till12:00 noon

Sheree DeLorenzo is up for next Tuesday's ABC of Rotary Moment, Barry Pett is first backup, George Roark is the second backup, and the third backup is Maggie Rosa. Please have your ABC of Rotary Moment ready.

Winners and Losers: Dan Ottenheimer gave the Rotary Moment today. Jon Morse won the $10.00, George Roark won the flowers, and Steve Kaity won the card raffle today, splitting $874.00 with the club.

Speaker today: Carole Sharoff and Dr. Phil Cutter presented the plans for the new temple on Middle Street, replacing the structure that was destroyed by fire 2 years ago. Ground breaking ceremonies are expected for April 18.
