Happy Thoughts
Brad Pierce was happy to see the Long Beach Hotel (open all year round with reasonable rates! ) in the backdrop of the movie, Edge of Darkness, a feel good movie (?) shot in Rockport last summer. Rick Doucette had two happy moments at the Chamber of Commerce dinner, dressing and undressing President Ruth. Rick was also happy that President Ruth did not have any wardrobe malfunctions. (Duct tape never lets you down). Steve Kaity was also happy to be dressing and undressing President Ruth. President Ruth, how did you wardrobe team end up being an all-male crew? Dave Stotzer was happy to have purchased a second home at Moosehead Lake, New Hampshire. John Dugger was so happy the Cape Ann Chamber's annual birding weekend is finally here. Julie Geary was happy that the Art Haven buoy auctions raised $3,000. Julie also managed to buy her grandson's buoy. Bob Gillis was happy to have the Super Bowl this weekend, also Bob wishes he could have been on President Ruth's wardrobe team. Don Sudbay Jr. was happy that he is not a Toyota dealer. Julie LaFontaine was happy that the Art Haven Buoy Auction and the Cape Ann YMCA's "Rock-a thon" fundraising events all went well. Julie was also happy seeing Howard Frisch appearing as Elvis during the Chamber of Commerce dinner.
Fines
President Ruth fined all members who did not attend the Chamber dinner. Former President Jim Marr took the time to fine President Pino for a pina colada drink. (Had to be there to understand the fine I guess?)
