     Club News

Fools Wanted! Our  first Spaghetti Supper fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 1st (April Fool's Day) at 4 P.M. at the Rose Baker Senior Center.  Please save the date!

Shop'til You Drop fundraiser is off and running.  Please plan on working the Rotary table at Shaw's Eastern Avenue or Railroad Avenue.  Supplies are kept on location, just take a minute to sign up with Steve Kaity or Leo Bergeron,  or just drop by, check with the store manager,  and start selling whenever you have some free time.  The drawing date is April 30, and the drawing location will be the Gloucester Pride Stride event at Good Harbor Beach.  The shopping spree will be on May 13 at the Eastern Avenue Shaw's at 6:30 in the morning, yes 6:30 am.  The fundraiser is one of our largest, we need participation from all members.  The Stage Fort Park Playground Re-Construction Project will benefit from the money raised.

Gaye Brown and Sue Todd handed in their resignations today.  The club would certainly like to thank Gaye for all her work with the Interact Club.  Gaye was there from the beginning and helped forge the active and strong Interact Club we have today.  Sue will be missed for all of her energy at every function our club participates in.  Good luck to Gaye in her new job! Sue and Gaye we hope to see you soon for visits.
