Happy Thoughts

Steve Kaity is happy his daughter is playing the lead in a school production of "Bye Bye Birdie".  Steve also noted this will also be his daughter's first kiss .  A fellow Rotarian reminded daddy Steve that it might be his daughter's first "on stage kiss!"

Bob Ellis was happy his daughter-in-law is finally taking her bar exam. Good luck!

Bruce Horne was happy to be in the fish bussiness during Lent.  Gorton's is having its best February ever.

Barry Pett was happy to have Scott Chernov here today as a visiting Rotarian.  Barry was also happy to sing the praises of Sudbay Motors fine work in repairing a rear end collision accident.

Joanne Carbone was happy that today was Fat Tuesday.  Joanne, you could never tell it was Fat Tuesday by the size of our lunch.  My table thought we were fasting for Lent!

David Slade was happy that spring training for baseball has started.

Scott Chernov was happy to be back  with his loved ones here at Gloucester Rotary!

Anniversaries & Birthdays

David Slade was happy to have been married for 30 "wonderful" years of marriage. Barbara and  Bob Ellis are celebrating 43 "wonderful" years of marriage.

Norma Eisenberg, our guest speaker today, celebrated her birthday.  John Dugger and Rudy Macchi paid her fine.

Speakers....  John Dugger introduced our guest speaker, Norma Eisenberg, founder of Vision House in Tewksbury.  Vision House is a day care center for adults who have suffered a head trauma.

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on teriyaki steak tips and vegetables.  The dinners at my table gave the food 3 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the dinners suggested an increase in portion size.
