Vacations

Mike Sarraf went skiing at Shawnese, Christopher Farmer went to Arizona. In an effort to reduce his fine from President Jim, Christopher  explained that it had not rained for 4 months.  President Jim was not moved.  Bruce Horne spent 9 days in Orlando working and playing golf or working at playing golf? Don Sudbay Jr. went to Colorado.  Don reports there was plenty of snow.  David Olson reported he spent his vacation in Gloucester under the watchful eye of his wife with a paint brush in his hand.  Dr. Mann just came back from the Dominican Republic; he left temperatures of 85 to return to 10 degrees in Boston. Welcome Home!  Ruth Pino spent 3 days in Florida.  John Dugger spent 5 days in Vermont, watching everybody else ski.  Carole Sharoff also went to Vermont skiing. Pat Thorpe went to North Conway.  Rudy Macchi spent the last 30 days vacationing down south.

Happy Thoughts

Cheryl Collins was happy that her master bedroom was all completed.  Mike Sarraf was happy to have had the opportunity to visit the local Montessori School. Josh Arnold was happy the police recovered his wife's stolen credit cards very quickly.   John Dugger was happy his daughter Sam was the best skier in the Master Mountain Program School.  John was also happy  to have spotted a falcon in his back yard.  Christopher Farmer was happy to have spotted two rare birds on his trip to Arizona.  With all this talk about birds, Bruce Horne had to chime in and let everybodyknow he birdied the 17th hole at a golf course in Florida.  Leo Bergeron also had a bird story. Leo enjoys the backyard view of seagulls trying to get into the dumpster at the local Chinese restaurant.  Leo, you also might be looking at the next day's lunchen special - tastes like chicken?    Bruce Horne was happy that Gorton's is having a good selling season for Lent, beating last year's February figures.  Joe Parisi was happy his daughter returned safe and sound from a humanitarian trip to the Dominican Republic.

  Fines

President Jim fined the anti-seat belt members once again today.  Members who did not attend the World Peace Dinner at District were fined.  (President Jim was the only one to go  - in a snowstorm!)  Rotarians who bought raffle tickets and used a $20 bill  to do so were fined today.
