Happy Thoughts

Steve Kaity was happy to have his new brother-in-law-to-be, David Stotzer, shovel out his family when Steve was away on a business trip.

Bruce Horne was happy to have been invited to participate in the Rockport Rotary career day held in the Rockport Schools. Bruce also acknowledged Sinikka Nogelo for helping out during the event.

Jon Morse was happy the Patriots won the Super Bowl, but is also looking forward to the off season to rest.

Ruth Pino wanted us to know that Brad Pierce is quite a gentleman. Ruth, we all know that!  Ruth was also happy that Dave Stotzer is such a good photographer, as he is doing a portrait of her grandchild.  Dave, it sounds like Ruth is a satisfied customer!

Greg Bover was happy to have his tenant agree to terminate their lease on his house in Magnolia, now he and his family could move back to Gloucester.

Rick Doucette was happy to have seen a play called "Flanagan's Wake" now playing at the Somerville Theater.  The author is a friend of Rick's and a Gloucester native.  The play might come to Gloucester in the near future.

Anniversaries & Birthdays

Charlie Foster and Julie Sidon celebrated their birthdays today.  Ruth and Ralph Pino celebrated 35 "wonderful" years of marriage.

Past Chamber Presidents were fined for a photo in the Cricket Press.

President Greg issued a fine to all late comers.

Barry Pett was fined for discussing business at the President table during lunch.

President Greg issued a pin fine.

Members talking about Janet Jackson and "nipplegate" were fined. (Everybody in the room participated in this fine.)

Vacations

John Dugger went skiing with daughter Sam in Vermont.

Barry Pett spent 3 warm days in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

David McKechnie vacationed in Lake Tahoe.
