Happy Thoughts
Ingrid Brown had a happy thought about a road trip with President Don. The road trip was to Wilmington for a Rotary meeting. Don was lost, so he tried to use the GPS system in the car. Don could not enter the correct data in the GPS - like spelling Wilmington correctly. Ingrid saved the day (and the trip) by informing President Don that he just needed to look down the street and note that their destinations was just on the right. David Slade was happy his wife and daughter won on some illegal gambling on the Super Bowl at Cricket Press. Sinikka Nogelo was happy to have found some good snow skiing this winter. Julie Geary was another winning Rotarian, wining another "suspect" Super Bowl pool. Alan Battistelli announced one of t he big winners in the Rockport Super Bowl pool was our own Ruth Pino. ( Ruth was not at the meeting today, but I do not think we have heard the last of this.) Cheryl Collis was happy her husband Dan is up back and building after his encounter with a chop saw. Steve Kaity was happy to be ordering the last 5 picnic tables for the Stage Fort Park project and hopes to have them installed by this spring.
Fines
David Stotzer was fined for participating in some illegal Super Bowl gambling, wining $50. David Slade was also fined for his wife and daughter winning at Super Bowl gambling. Acting President Bruce fined Leo Bergerone was for being a very "Chatty Cathy" today. Julie Geary also ponied up a fine for Super Bowl winnings. Acting President Bruce gave out a pin fine for Rotarians not wearing their pin. Jon Morse was fined for a Patriot's Cheerleader Calendar, 99% cheerleaders and 1% calendar. Joe Parisi was fined for a photo in the GDT"s in 1991. Brad Pierce and Barry Pett also paid a photo fine in the GDT's. Dom Nicastro kindly reminded Acting President Bruce that Roger Brisson was also in the paper, two photos.
