Vacations
Brad Pierce spent 2 days at the Mount Washington resort. Roger Armstrong spent a week in Florida. John Dugger spent 2 days in Rochester, Vermont. Todd Tanger spent a week in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Happy Thoughts
Roger Armstrong was happy about the election process. Rick Doucette was happy with the success of the Rock-a-thon. Sinikka Nogelo was happy to have a new granddaughter. Tom Dexter was happy his two kids left for their last semester in college. Roger Corbin was happy to receive a clean bill of health during his last checkup. Julie Geary was happy her husband had a good time at the Rotary Holiday Party. David Slade was happy to have his California daughter and granddaughter spring a surprise visit on him. Ed Collard was happy to have had the opportunity to see the drill competition held recently at GHS. Tony Corrao was happy to have been stopped by the police on his way home from the Rotary Party for having a light out on his truck - and not getting a ticket. (Tony had the "well used" vodka luge in the back of his truck at the time.) Christopher Farmer was happy to be visiting the United Kingdom on Friday.
Fines
President Ruth fined any Rotarians who did not attend the Rotary Holiday Party. Christopher Farmer was fined for having the idea for the adult holiday party and then not attending. Rotarians who did not vote before Rotary were fined.
Club News
Tony Corrao pours some type of liquid as Carole Sharoff checks the ice to make sure it is level and guard against spillage. This was some type of science experiment demonstrated at the recently held Holiday Party. (That's our story and we are sticking to it!)
