Missed and Missing... Bruce Bain, Mary Black, Roger Brisson, Steve Dexter, Sal Frontiero, Julie LaFontiane, Matt Langis, Kevin MacAveeney, David McKechnie, David Rose, Marc Sandler, and David Sullivan. Today's attendance is 43 present with 6 makeups out of 55 members for an average of 89%.

     Joe Ciolino had John Rando as his guest.  Brian McCook had his son Brian as his guest.  Brian Jr.  is visiting from the United Kingdom.

 

Interact Club

     Interact members members were not present today.         

 

Makeups

    Ruth Pino made up in Rockport, Greg Bover made up out of state, Jon Morse made up in Westwood.  Don Sudbay made up in Rockport, Jim Marr made up in Hamilton/Wenham and at Sanibel Island, Florida

 

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

  

      Becky Sumner celebrated her birthday today.  David Kenny is happy to be celebrating his parent's 56th wedding anniversary

 

Vacations

       Julie Geary went to Vermont, David Kenny spent his vacation  time at home, and Cheryl Collins spent her vacation doing home improvement chores.  Steve Kaity spent three days in North Conway, John Dugger and family went to Vermont, and had Carole Sharoff and her family visiting.  Pat Thorpe went to Boston, Christopher Farmer went to Portland,and also spent some vacation time in East Gloucester.  Roger Armstrong went to Florida.  President Don went to Needham for New Year's Eve.  Bob Ryan went to see the Rockettes in Boston (1 2 3 step, kick, step again!) Leo Bergeron spent his three days off at home.  David Slade went to New Hampshire. 

                                                      

Happy Thoughts

    Cheryl Collins was happy that Charlene Glynn had a beautiful baby girl. Cheryl is also happy that she has a temporary replacement for Charlene on her staff and she is back to full coverage at the shop.  Todd Tanger was proud to announce the birth of his twins, a boy and a girl.  Todd is also happy that his In-laws went back home, and he's also happy to be back to attending Rotary.  Roger Armstrong was happy to have met Johnny Peskyat a restaurant and got him to sign an autograph with a sweet message to his mother, a long time Red Sox Fan.  David Slade was happy to have his daughters and mother-in -law here for a visit for the holidays.   Ruth Pino was happy about Wellspring being on the CBS Evening News.  Ruth is also happy to be sworn in on January 27th as the new President of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce. Ruth is additionally happy to have Steve Kaity as the 1st Vice President, and Todd Tanger as the 2nd Vice President.  Greg Bover was happy to be back after being out of commission for awhile.  Sinikka Nogelo was happy to have stretched a canvas  so she can start painting once again.  Sinikka was also happy to take some visiting relatives to visit to the WWII Memorial. 

 

  Fines

    Todd Tanger was happy to pay the pound fine on his new twins.  Roger Armstrong was fined for an art photo.  David Slade was fined for a photo in his own paper.  Carol Sharoff was fined by President Don for the Elmira incident (you had to be there). President Don fined any Rotarians who did not help or attend the Rotary sponsored Track and Field event at GHS.  David Slade was fined for a typo in this year's Rotary Calendar.

Rotary Moment

John Bjorlie is up for next Tuesday's Rotary Moment, Tony Corrao is first backup, and Sue Ellis is the second backup, third backup is  Steve Dexter.  Please have your Rotary Moment ready. 

    


Winners and Losers...   Shirley Conway gave a Rotary Moment.  David Slade won the money, and Joe Parisi won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.
