Interact members present today included Amanda and Amy. Amy spoke about her activities and future goals.

Tom Siemers celebrated his birthday today. No anniversaries were reported today.
Vacations
Bob and Barbara Ellis had a 2 week vacation in Egypt. Julie Geary went to Florida, and Don Sudbay Jr. went to Detroit.
Happy Thoughts
Cheryl Collins was happy to be gifted with a surprise 50th birthday party. Bruce Horne was happy to have volunteered once again for the Gloucester High School Junior Achievement Program; he donates one day a week. The program netted a $1700 profit this year. Barry Pett was happy to see the Rockport fire engine loaded on to a truck ready to go to a town in need in Mississippi. Howard Frisch was happy to have 20 people in attendance at the AES course he teaches at the Chamber of Commerce. During its 35 year history, 800 people have taken the course. Howard was also happy to see his clock article in the Boston Globe - if you have an extra copy, Howard needs 46 copies for friends and family. Brad Pierce was happy to announce that his wife Lynn is done with her operations and is on the mend. Todd Tanger is just happy about winter today. David McKechnie was happy to have passed a securities exam. David Slade was happy to be flying to California to be visiting his twin daughters. Gay Brown was happy to have found a framed version of the Rotary 4 way test in Japanese.
Fines
Scott Chernov paid the only seat belt fine today. President Jim had Rotarians who were not wearing socks pay a fine. Gay Brown was fined for buying a snow blower for her tenant to use on their common driveway. Don Sudbay Jr. was fined for having one of the Interact members as an employee.
Club News
Fools Wanted! Yes - we're holidng our first Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, April 1st (April Fool's Day) at 4 P.M. at the Rose Baker Senior Center. Please save the date!
Winners and Losers... Leo Bergeron gave a Life Refection today. Mike Costello won the money, and Christopher Farmer won the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
Speakers.... Roger Armstrong introduced Roger Brisson, the new Director of the Sawyer Free Library. Mr.Brisson spoke about what the library of the future will be like, and about the plans for expanding the library facilities on Dale Avenue.
