Matt Langs was happy to go to Fenway Park.  John Duggan was happy that his Buckeyes won.  Joe Ciolino had three happy thoughts today: one,  he was happy to be sworn in for his fourth term as a Gloucester City Councilor on New Year's Day.  Two, Joe was happy that University of Nebraska won it bowl game on New Years Day with a 33 to 0 shutout.  Third, Joe was just so sad to hear that a small college based in Chicago lost it bowl game (in overtime!) by 1 point.  Joe wished that he could magically transfer some of Nebraska's many scored points to Northwestern, but it was not be be.  Christopher Farmer was happy  the Massachusetts Inspector General smelled a rat concerning the permitting of a charter scool in Gloucester.  Christopher was also happy to to see a Red Belly Woodpecker in his yard recently.   Greg Bover was happy to have spotted a Barn Owl at the C.B. Fisk property.   Julie LaFontaine was happy to have learned about the Interact children.  David Mckechnie was happy the Cape Ann contingent never lets down the Children at the Shriner's Hospital for Christmas.  David gave a special tip of the hat to our own, in-house Santa, Rudy Macchi.  The surplus toys donated are stored at the hospital and will be rationed out as needed during the year.  Carolle Sharoff announced  she is ready to start working on the Obama Re-election Campaign. Sinikka Nogelo was happy to announce the birth of a new granddaughter.
