       Joe Ciolino was sworn in as President, Jim Marr as Vice President; Directors sworn in are Don Sudbay Jr.- Club Service, Sinikka Nogelo - Vocational Service, Bruce Horne - Community Service, Ruth Pino - International Service, Jn Morse - Treasurer, Carole Sharoff - Secretary, Cheryl Collins and Rick Doucette - Sargent at Arms,  and Directors-at-large - Steve Kaity and Joe Parisi.

        Secretary Carole Sharoff presented Greg Bover with his Past President Pin, a gavel plaque,  and a cherry wood box all inscribed to commemorate Greg's year.  President Joe presented Greg with a memory book (all the years Rotators), a photo album compiled by club photographer Brad Pierce, a book purchased at the Osaka International Convention celebrating the first 100 years of Rotary, and a Japanese vase purchased in Osaka, Japan , for Greg's wife Frances.

        President Joe gave the first book "Rotary, the First 100 Years" to the Sawyer Free Library in honor of Past President Greg's year.  The book is the first of 100 books the club has committed to purchase for the Children's Library to celebrate the Rotary International Centennial.  David McArdle was also presented a check to start purchasing the first books.


Winners and Losers...No won the beverage of choice.  Someone won the money, and the flowers were given to Joan Ciolino by Rick Doucette.  No winners today in the card raffle.

 

Speakers.... President Joe Ciolino gave his inauguration speech focusing on four key areas that , Glenn Estess, Rotary International's President, has made the focus of this year:  Celebrate Rotary Family, Health Concerns, Literacy, and Water Management.

 

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on salad and baked fish.  The dinners at my table gave the food 5+ stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the diners suggested it was perfect.
