Happy Thoughts

Brad Pierce was happy to have 4 grandchildren playing on tee ball teams, happy he lost 18 pounds, and happy that he once had the opportunity to hear Lena Horne in concert at the Waldorf Astoria.   Brad was also happy to be first in the serving line at the Paul Harris Dinner. Sinikka Nogelo was happy to be having her first official day of retirement today.  Jim Marr was happy to report that two men who broke into his neighbor's house were apprehended by the police.  Jim's son notified police of the break in and kept the men under surveillance until the police arrived.  Julie Geary had an anxiety attack when she smelled wood burning in her house. (Julie had a devastating fire in her house a few years ago.)  Turns out the smoke was coming from the Quebec forest fires.  Greg Bover was a happy man be taking possession of a pre-owned 30 foot sailboat.  Greg was also happy to finally have built the new deck he bought at at a Chamber of Commerce auction a few years ago.  Dan Otteheimer was happy that Tufts had a winning lacrosse game.  Rudy Macchi was happy to have attended a taping of  the Jay Leno Show during his visit to California.  Terri Jones as happy to have sold her home, and purchased a new kayak to play with this summer.  Greg Bover was happy to share the definition of a kayak to a sailboat captain.....speed bumps.  (Terri, just a suggestion stay -  clear of Greg and his boat.)
