No birthdays were celebrated today. Brian McCook is celebrating 42 "wonderful" years of marriage. Steve Dexter is celebrating 44 "wonderful" years of marriage.

Happy Thoughts
President Sinikka was happy her daughter Alex is expecting. George Roark was happy to start up his own realty office, calling the business Homeport Realty. Best of luck George! Joe Ciolino was happy the City Council managed to find an extra $200,000 for the school district. Pat Thorpewas happy to have attend the O'Maley Achievement Honor Awards. Steve Dexter was happy the city's elected officials represented our city well. Brian McCook was happy to have his daughter and grandchildren visiting for a month. Julie LaFontainewas happy to have the Children's Free Lunch Program start up for the summer. Roger Armstrong was happy the "Share the Music" ensemble raised money for the WW2 Memorial. Maggie Rosa was happy about a recent Sawyer Free Library program. Jim Marr was happy Brad Pierce remembered to stop at Jim's house to pick him up for Rotary.
Fines
Sal Frontiero was fined by President Sinikka for leaving his briefcase at the last director's meeting. Bob Ryan was fined for not taking his niece,Heidi Dallon, to Rotary more often. Jim Marr and Barry Pett were fined for sitting at the same table with Joe Ciolino. President Sinikka gave out a pin fine, and a fine for members who did not attend the Rotary Club Birthday Party.

Harold "Lenny" Linsky Science & Technology Scholarship- $1000.00 to Jessica Olson. W. Herbert Goodick Vocational Education Scholarship - $1000.00 to Joshua Ortiz. Business Education- $1000.00 to Tonianne Piscitello. Clarence Birdseye Biology Achievement Award - $100.00 - Jessica Olson. Samuel J. Miceli Scholarship $250.00 goes to Marcus Busby.
NEXT MEETING
President Sinikka will have her last meeting as our club president next Tuesday . Thank you Sinikka for a great year of leadership. You will hand over club to Ruth Pinoas and even stronger and more vibrant club. Past presidents have all been charged with growing Rotary in Gloucester, and Sinikka has succeeded with that challenge. You have done your duty, now you get to relax at our meetings and enjoy the conversation for a change!
Rotarians please try to come to Tuesday's meeting to thank Sinikka for all her hard work and leadership this past year.
