Club News
Bruce Horne held his last meeting today as president. I am sure we all want to thank Bruce for all the work he did for Rotary this year. The theme for Bruce's year was Rotary Shares, and that summarizes the past year's accomplishments. We started the year by finishing the Stage Fort Park Children's Playground. In December, Bruce, along with Josh Arnold, tackled one of the biggest disaster relief efforts done by our club and the District. The District honored us for the work done in helping victims of the Loranne Apartments and then the Lawrence fire victims. Rotary does share, and Bruce thank you for sharing yourself with our Rotary Club. Job well done.
The new year in Rotary year starts with our new President Elect Sinikka Nogelo being inducted. Our newest board member is Rick Doucette, who will take over International Service. We also have a new Sargent at Arms, Leo Bergeron. Thank you all for serving.
Members need to check the committee assignments for the new and updated version now published on our website. If any one has any question please check with President Elect Sinikka, if you see a typo please let me know so I can make the change.
New presidents bring a fresh energy and new perspectives to our efforts; I am sure we all wish President Sinikka best wishes in her coming year.
