Vacations
Sinikka Nogelo vacationed in New York. Steve Noble went to Florida for 4 days. Charlie Foster spent 6 week in Florida. John Rando spent 5 weeks in Florida. Don Sudbay Jr. went to California.
Happy Thoughts
Steve Kaity was happy the new Merry Go Round was installed at the Stage Fort Park Playground.

Sal Frontiero was happy the recycling event held during the Home and Garden Show went well. John Dugger was also happy that his lecture series to Chamber Contractors also went well. Jon Morse was happy the concert netted $5500, plus Barry's check from the Gloucester Fund for $525.00, for a total $6025.00. Job well done to all. Isaac Wilhelm was happy to welcome a new baby boy to his family. Congrats to all. Roger Corbin was happy this month's issue of our Rotary magazine did a great job reporting on Rotary in Afghanistan.

President Ruth installed a new member today, Tom Alves. Tom was sponsored by Sal Frontiero. Please take the time to introduce yourself to Tom and welcome him to the club.
President Ruth presented David Adams of the Docksiders Band a check for $1500 for their participation at the Night to Remember event. Barry Pett gave a check to President Ruth for $525, representing the proceeds from the memorabilia sale held that same evening.
Linda Amero, Tony Verga and Vito Calamo sang a song for the club. President Ruth presented the trio with Rotary citations and a thank you for making a Night to Remember such a success.

Winners and Losers: John Rando gave the Rotary Moment today. Roger Corbin won the $10.00, Roger Armstrong won the flowers and gave them to our guest, Linda Amero, Terri Jones won the Rotary umbrella and there were no winners in the card raffle today.

Speaker today: Terri Jones introduced our speaker today, Ward One City Councilor Paul McGeary. Paul talked about the 2010 Census, now in progress.
