Interact Club

 

The Interact club members present are Michaela Noto, Chase Kelly, and Alisa Gomes.  Chase spoke about all of the Interact's fundraising events.

 

Makeups

 

No makeups were reported today.

Rotarians can now make up online. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org and allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup. Make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your online makeup, and give your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.

Jon Morse and Sal Frontiero both celebrated their birthdays today.  No anniversaries were reported today.

 

Vacations

Jim Cooke went to St. Kitts.   Carole Sharoff  went to visit her son's college in  Eli, North Carolina.

 

Happy Thoughts

 

Pat Thorpe was happy he was going to have a corned beef and cabbage dinner once again at the Chamber's Irish Sweepstakes event tonight.  Jim Marr was happy the Gloucester Police solved a very old "Cold Case" murder.  David Slade had 2 happy thoughts.

 

Fines

 

Acting President Josh gave Christopher Farmer a photo fine for all the pictures he had in the newspapers.  Steve Kaity was accessed a 10% fine on his recent big card raffle winnings.  Steve asked it to be earmarked for the Stage Fort Park playground.

March       23  President Ruth returns!  Tropical Tuesday - Coconut shrimp with tropical sauce, coconut rice, and mango mousse

March       30  Baked fish, roasted red potatoes, salad, strawberry shortcake.

April            6  First Lunch at Cruiseport!  Buttermilk fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, fruit with creme fraiche

May       11  Today is "Significant Other" day at Rotary.  It is a day to share your Rotary experience with your spouse, partner or "significant other". 

 

ABC of Rotary Moment

 

Bob Ryan is up for next Tuesday's ABC of Rotary Moment, Marc Sandler is first backup, Mike Sarraf is the second backup, and the third backup is John Rando. Please have your ABC of Rotary Moment ready.

Winners and Losers: George Roark gave the Rotary Moment today.  Brad Pierce won the $10.00, Brad Pierce  won the flowers, Bob Ryan won a voucher,  and no winners in the card raffle today.

Speaker today: Terri Jones introduced our speaker today, Iris Weaver. Iris spoke about the environmental impact of cleaning products.
