Missed and Missing... Dennis Acker, Mike Costello, Steve Curcuru, Alex Delis, Catherine Henry, Bill Mantz, Dave McArdle, Jim McKenna, Sinikka Nogelo, Bob O'Maley, George Roark, Marc Sandler, Julie Sidon, Carole Sharoff, Don Sudbay Jr., and Cayte Ward.       Donna Morris had Steve Argersinger, our guest speaker today, as her guest.

 

Interact Club

     Interact members present today are:  Emily and Jessica Pecora, and Rachel Scevora.  Rachel spoke about her current activities and future college plans.

 

Makeups

      Bruce Horne and Dave Stotzer both made up in Rockport.

     

Happy Thoughts.

      Greg Bover was happy to have C.B Fisk featured on the New England Cable News Network.

      Jon Morse was just delighted to be on the front page of the GDT's on Saint Patty's Day.  Jon  won best costume at the Chamber's Irish Sweepstake Gala and went home with  prizes, some Jameson whiskey, and two tickets to see the Celtics.  Jon had a good night.    

       Rick Doucette was happy to be leaving for a trip to New York and appearing at the Actor's Studio Workshop. Congrats Rick break a leg!

       Bruce Horne was happy to have made it to the driving range in Danvers for the first time this year.   Bruce was also happy to have lost 20lbs on his diet.

      Ruth Pino was happy to have had the opportunity to vacation in Freeport for the past 14 years.

      Sue Todd was happy that her daughter and son-in-law are building a house in Maine.  Sue was a little unhappy that they will be moving away. Sue was also happy to be contributing to the economic recovery by purchasing a new car.

      Barry Pett was saddened that the Lady Grace suffered a fire, but was happy that the fire did not spread to the Casino Boat. God is good, Barry!

 

Anniversaries & Birthdays

       Ruth Pino and David Slade celebrated their birthdays today. 

      Charlene Glenn and new hubby are still on their honeymoon, celebrating their 8 month wedding anniversary.

    

Fines

      Ruddy Macchi was fined for an insurance advertisement during the meeting.

      President Greg was happy that Shirley Conway donated a dessert cake for our meeting held at C.B. Fisk Company.  Greg fined himself for not giving Shirley credit during the meeting.

      Jim Marr was fined for losing his wallet during our visit to the Fisk Organ Company. The wallet was recovered and returned.

      Sue Todd was fined for having her cell phone ring.

      Steve Dexter was fined for being a woosie?

 

Vacations

      John Scuccimarra vacationed in Arizona.

      Ruth Pino spent 14 days in Freeport, Bahamas.

      Rudy Machi went skiing for 3 days in Bethel, Maine.

 

A Rotary Moment

    The next Rotary Moment will be given by Pat Thorpe followed by Sue Todd and Cayte Ward.

 

Club News

     The club will assemble on May 8th at the Stage Fort Park Band Stand for the annual fixer upper.  Please sign up with Joe Parisi.

      April 28th is the District Conference.  Officers of the club are asked to attend.  The conference is in Danvers and starts at 4:00 PM.  Don Sudbay is putting together a van for a car pool .  Please contact Joe Ciolino to sign up.  The club will pay all expenses for the attendees.


Winners and Losers... No won the beverage of choice.  Sal Fronterio won the money, and Charlene Glynn won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

 

Speakers....  Donna Morris introduce our guest speaker, Steve Argersinger, from BankNorth.  Steve talked about his career as an Army Intelligence Officer. Steve also talked about his new career as a Retirement Investment Councilor for BankNorth.

 

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on pasta and meat sauce  The dinners at my table gave the food 5 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the diners suggested it was just fine.
