     Alex Ushakoff, our Assistant District Governor, was visiting from the Beverly Club.

      No guests were reported today.

 

Interact Club

      Interact members present today were Alex Trotsky and Chase Kelly.  Alex spoke about himself and his future goals. 

 

Makeups

      Shirley Conway made up 2 times online, Dan Ottenheimer made up in Baldwin, New York.  Brian McCook made up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. 

     Rotarians can now make up on line.  Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup.  Please hand  your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted. 

 

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

     Josh Arnold celebrated his birthday today.  David Slade had an anniversary today. 

 

Vacations

    Brad Pierce was happy to have spent 4 days golfing in Las Vegas.  Christopher Farmer was happy to have had a snow day on Monday. 

                                                      

Happy Thoughts

     Ruth Pino was happy for Brad Pierce  and his Vegas golfing outing, but wondered what else happened in Las Vegas? (What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, Ruth.)  Sinikka Nogello was happy about Rotary having a presence on the Chamber's Home and Garden Show's flyer.  (The flyer is promoting the Polio Plus Recycling Program  held that weekend.) Sinikka was also happy with Cricket Press for producing a flyer, and happy about the good showing at Elliot's for a fund raising event.  Tony Corrao was happy to be celebrating "Square Root Day" today. 

 

 Fines

     Ruth Pino was fined her ongoing fine for member's anniversaries.  ( David Slade was celebrating this week.)  Brad Pierce and Rudy Macchi were both fined for a photo circulating the club.     

 

    Club News

       President Sinikka gave Ruth Pino a Rotary Certificate of Achievement for bringing in the most new members (3) so far this year. 

 

 ABC of Rotary Moment

    

     Pat Thorpe is up for next Tuesday's  ABC of Rotary Moment, Sergey Zemlyanski is first backup, Rudy Macchi is the second backup, and the third backup is Roger Armstrong . Please have your   ABC of Rotary Moment ready. 

    


Winners and Losers...   Steve Noble gave an ABC of Rotary Moment.  Steve Kaity won the money, and President Sinikka won the flowers and presented them to Ruth Pino for bringing in the most new members so far this year.  No winners today in the card raffle.

 


Speakers....  President Sinikka held a business meeting and Eric Noble gave his classification speech today.
