Vacations
Matt Langis spent 12 days in California, Jim Marr spent 9 days in Lisbon, Portugal.
Happy Thoughts
Brad Pierce was happy to be born on March 31st instead of one day later (which would put his birthday on April Fool's Day). President Sinikka was happy the Polio Plus Fundraiser went well. Sinikka was also happy that Charlie Foster was here for the Rotary Achievement Award. Bob Ellis was happy to have had the opportunity to participate in a concert held at the Annisquam Village Hall. David Babson was happy his son was hired for a new job. Matt Langis was happy the plane he was riding in made a safe landing. David Slade was happy to announce that Cricket Press has purchased the Pressroom. Good luck with the new venture! Ruth Pino was happy the House and Garden Show went well. Ruth was happy to see Mike Costello working the event, selling tickets at the door. Ruth was also happy to have attended the Red Cross Breakfast honoring local heroes.
Fines
Rotarians not working the Polio Plus Fundraiser were fined. Mike Costello was fined for not sharing his lobster roll with President Sinikka. Mark Grenier was fined for harassing Pat Thorpe at the fundraiser. Kevin McAveeney was fined for trying to recycle the Polio Plus fundraiser computer. Ruth Pino was fined for posting on her Facebook page the fact that she did not own up to President Sinikka that she was celebrating her birthday. Photo fines were issued to Jim Marr, Isaac Wilhelm, Kevin McAveeney, and David Slade.

Winners and Losers... Brad Pierce gave an ABC of Rotary Moment. Marc Sandler won the money, and Isaac Wilhelm won the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
Speakers.... Mark Grenier introduced our speaker today, Susan Wadia-Ellis of Manchester, Director of the National Breast Cancer Prevention Project. Susan holds informational meetings on Cape Ann for women to lean about potential cancer risk factors.
