Ruth Pino was happy she has been named Small Business Person of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. Ruth will be honored on June 7th at a time and place to be announced. Julie LaFontaine was happy she was able to go to Chicago to accept an award. Julie was also happy that Sesame Street Productions is interested in doing a segment on the Food Pantry Mobil Mart. Bruce was ready to attend the Kentucky Derby on a business trip, but the trip did not work out. David Slade was happy to be arrested by the MS police. John Dugger was happy that Joe Ciolino explained the science of why the dogs are not allowed on the beaches one month before Memorial Day. Mike Linquata was happy the stolen flag at the WW2 memorial is being replace by a donor. Mike had fun talking to a group of 11 year old children at the memorial. Lastly, Mike was happy that a concert benefiting the WW2 Memorial will performed by a local chorus named the Sound of Music.
