 Missed and Missing...  Josh Arnold, John Dugger, Christopher Farmer, Charlie Foster, Sal Frontiero, Steve Kaity, Julie LaFontaine, Ray Lamont, Dan Ottenheimer, John Rando, and Kim Spaner.  Today's attendance is 53 present with 3 makeups out of 63 members for an average of 84%.


Meeting Report:  Gloucester Rotary Club                                May 18, 2010

 

Visiting Rotarians

 

Today is a joint meeting with the  Rockport  and Manchester / Essex Rotary Clubs.  A strong delegation from District, lead by District Governor Ingrid Brown, was also in attendance.

 

Guests of Rotarians

 

Tom Alves had Bob Bradford as his guest today.  President Ruth had the District 1130 London Group Study Exchange Team members as her guests.  The team  included Neelam Ladher, Jackie Booths, Sarah Oddy and  leader Judi Stockwell.

 

Interact Club

 

The Interact Club members present are Louisa Brown, a junior, and our Interact speaker today, sophomore Meryl Glaser. Also in attendance was Maryka Gillis, junior, Emily Doucette. and Kelsey Bradford, our club's first foreign exchange student.

 

Makeups

 

Three makeups were reported today.  Brian McCook made up in Orinda, California, Roger Corbin made up in Dublin,  Ohio, and Terri Jones made up online.

Rotarians can now make up online. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org and allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup. Make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your online makeup, and give your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.

Scott Hitchcock  is up for next Tuesday's ABC of Rotary Moment, Dave Stotzer is first backup, Don Sudbay Jr.  is the second backup, and the third backup is Becky Sumner. Please have your ABC of Rotary Moment ready.

Winners and Losers: District Govenor Ingrid Brown gave the Rotary Moment today.  Bill Flygare won the $10.00, Matt Langis won the flowers, and Dave Stotzer was the big  winner in the card raffle today. Dave will split $1,100 with the club.
