Interact Club
Interact members present were not present today. Note: Interact Members are going to be running our next meeting - be prepaired for plenty of fines, all in fun of course. The Interact Club gets to keep all the money from the meeting.
Makeups

Rotarians can now make up on line. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup. Please hand your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
No birthdays were reported today. Rick Doucette is celebrating his 7th anniversary as Executive Director of the YMCA. Mark Grenier was happy to be celebrating 15 "wonderful " years of marriage.
Vacations
Rudy Macchi vacationed 2 weeks in Aruba. Steve Noble had a family vacation at Club Med. Dave Marsh went to New York City.
Happy Thoughts
Barry Pett was happy the gate to the children's park at Stage Fort Park was finally installed. Barry's niece has been accepted at McGill University. Sheree DeLorenzo was happy her child just graduated from UNH. Kim Spaner was happy to be done with chemo. Greg Bover was happy to have attended another sucessful Empty Bowl Fundraiser. Rick Doucette was happy to have survived sitting in a dunk tank. David McKechnie was happy the Shriner Hospital took care of an orphan girl from Jamaica. Roger Armstrong was happy the city is repaving roads again. David Marsh was happy his daughter graduated from NYU and has found a teaching position starting this fall.
Fines
Don Sudbay and Brad Pierce had a photo fine. Sheree paid a Cruiseport fine. Men wearing pink shirts were fined, a "pretty in pink" fine! Members wearing tee shirts were fined. Members not wearing their pins were fined by President Sinikka.
Club News
President Sinikka announced resignations of the following members: Kevin Bacon, Sergey Zemlyanski, and Kevin McAveeney. We thank you all for your service to the club and hope our paths will cross once again.
Ingrid Brown,of the Rockport Rotary Club, will be inducted as our new District Governor at the District Installation in Danversport.

This year we will be honoring Donald E. Sudbay Jr. at a special dinner on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the Elks at Bass Rocks. Cocktail Hour will begin at 5:30 pm followed by dinner at 6:30 pm. Dinner will include appetizers, salad, buffet dinner and dessert. Cost: $45.00 per person. Gloucester Rotary Club members can deduct $12.00 from cost of dinner.
