Interact Club

    Interact members visiting today are as follows: Joel Favazza, James Pope, Nathan Parisi, Chelsea Osborn, Else McNiff, Jenna Orlando, Madison Gilardi, and Jon Blair.  Jon  was also our guest speaker today.

    No makeups were reported today.

    

Happy Thoughts

    Tom Consolati was happy that so far, this years seniors at GHS are honoring the No Scavenger Hunt rule.

    David McKechnie was happy to see his father march in the Memorial Day parade.  David's father is a WWII vet and still can fit into his Ike jacket.

    Rick Doucette was happy to be in a play in Rockport.

   Jim Marr was happy to see Representative and Honorary Member Tony Verga in attendance today.

    Jim also thanked all the Rotarians who went to his retirement party at Woodman's.

    Dave Stotzer was happy that with the Interact Club running our meeting today, he was not going to be fined.  He was not.  President David, do you think there was a conspiracy? Please check out the grassy knoll......

Anniversaries & Birthdays

    Pat Thorp and John Dugger celebrated their birthdays today.  No anniversaries were reported today. 

Fines

    The Interact Club ran our meeting today.  Fines were paid by the following Rotarians:  Jim Marr, Barry Pett, Carol Sharoff, Rick Doucette, Joe Ciolino, Don Sudbay Jr., John Scuccimarra, Scott Chernov, and Joe Parisi.

  

Vacations

    John Dugger took his daughter Sam to Orlando instead of a planned trip to China.

   The next Rotary Moment will be given by Sal Frontiero, followed by the week after by Catherine Henry.

Club News

   Sue Todd is coming back to the club!  Welcome back, Sue.

   Sinikka Nogelo has been nominated to the board of directors.  Congrats Sinikka!


Winners and Losers... Nobody won the beverage of choice,  Charlie Foster  won the money, and no one won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

Speakers....  Jon Blair was our speaker today.  Jon is an Interact member and also a member of the GHS ROTC program.  Jon described how he decided to enter the ROTC program and what a valuable asset it has been to his education and self esteem. 

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on salad and fish ?.  The dinners at my table gave the food 5 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the dinners suggested it was just fine..
