 Birthdays & Anniversaries

    No birthdays were reported today. Steve Kaity is celebrating 17 "wonderful" years of marriage, Gaye Brown is celebrating 25 "wonderful" years of marriage.

 

Vacations

    Jim Perry spent 1 week on Marco Island.  Julie Geary spent 10 honeymoon-filled days in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. Ann Margaret Ferrante went to Las Vegas.  Dave Babson spent 3 days in Martha's Vineyard.  Rob Carver spent a week in Sarasota, Florida.  

 

Happy Thoughts

    Howard Frisch was happy his son Scott was elected CFO of ARP Financial Services.  Jon Morse was happy that Tom Brady and the Patriots won, and Jon's bliss continued by having his boat hauled out of the water so he can now rest easier.  ( Jon has been waiting since September to haul out his boat.) John Dugger was happy his paintings are going back on the wall after 3 months of renovations.  Brad Pierce was happy the gift baskets he got from Classic Cooks were wonderful gifts and he would recommend them to everyone.  Todd Tanger was happy to have purchased a new car from Don Sudbay, but was a little unhappy that Don was not there to pay his fine.

    President Jim's seatbelt fine went to past winner Joe Parisi today. David McKechnie   was fined for being late and not introducing his speaker for the day.  Members were fined for not wearing a Rotary Pin.

  The club will meet at the Cape Ann Bowling Lanes next Tuesday! The Christmas party will be held on December 16th, also at the Cape Ann Bowling Lanes.  Please prepare a gift for Santa to present your child that evening.  Santa's gifts can be dropped of at the bowling center in advance of December 16.  Thank you to Genie and Don Sudbay Jr. for their donation of the Bowling Center for our party. 

    Rudy Macchi, in his role as a Red Cross representative,   sent a letter thanking the club  for all our donations.  Manchester/ Essex Rotary Club sent a note thanking us for  the lovely time they had at our meeting. 

 


Winners and Losers...  No winner in the beverage of choice. Someone won the money, and somebody else won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

 


Speakers....  Marie Sanviti, Director of Action's Fuel Assistance Program, spoke about how the fuel assistance program works in Gloucester.
