Happy Thoughts

Sinikka Nogelo was happy her husband Joe did not get seriously hurt during a Surf Board Competion in Costa Rica.

Joe Ciolino was happy the voters of Ward 1 reelected him for 2 more years to represent them on the Gloucester City Council.

Joe Ciolino was also happy to have Adelphia, Sinnika Nogelo and the league of Woman Voters do such a great job informing the public about the last election.

Bruce Horne was happy that his wife's foot is finally healing.  Bruce was happy his father is home after physical therapy for a knee replacement.  Finally, Bruce was happy to have won first prize for his bird carving.  Bruce, you have all kinds of hidden talents!

Cheryl Collins was happy that both of her children earned straight A's on their last report cards.

Ruddy Macchi was happy to have successfully negotiated with the good nuns who own the building St.Mels leases for their school.  The sisters have extended St. Mel's lease for another year. Rudy reported the only hitch is that he promised  Mother Superior a night of diner and dancing sometime soon.

Rudy was also happy he just received his tickets to the 04' Daytona Beach Races.

David McKechnie was happy to have completed a computer conversion in his office.  David was also happy with how Rudy Macchi enabled the extension of St. Mel's lease. David was also happy to have won a Trivial Pursuit game with Carol Sharoff and Alex Delis.  Carol did not agree with David's winning assessment. We will have Alex Delis settle who the winner actually was.  ( Rotary procedure: "Is it the Truth"?)

Judy Sidon was happy her mother is turning 87, and that her father was not injured by a car accident involving his living room.

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on a ruben sandwich and corn chowder.  The dinners at my table gave the food 3 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the dinners suggested a larger ruben sandwich.
