Bruce Horne, Howard Frisch, and Greg Bover all celebrated their birthdays today. Joe and Di Parisi, celebrated 21 "wonderful" years of marriage. (21 years, what a sentence with no parole - Di there will be a special place in heaven for you! )

John Dugger went to Vermont, Dave Babson went to the Vineyard, Bruce Horne went to Portland, Maine, Howard Frisch traveled around Europe, and Ruth Pino went to North Conway and the Fryeburg Fair.
Happy Thoughts
Jon Morse was happy to go to a Pat's game with his son. Greg Bover was happy to have attended parents weekend at his son's college. Tony Corrao was happy how a photo of his grand-daughter came out. John Dugger was happy to have survived the flu. Cheryl Collins was happy that hubby Dan took his hat out of the ring for the Rockport Selectman race. Howard Frisch was happy that he had tickets for the Sox/Yankee game on Saturday. Dave McKechnie was happy to have survived Alex Delis's moving his record collection.
Fines
President Joe fined any member who has not brought a potential new member for lunch since July. Remember, potential new members guest dine at the expense of the club. Please bring a friend or business acquaintance that you think would be a good member.
Josh Arnold was fined for trying to take out the Rockport Golf Team with his golf cart. A nice thought, but we do not resort to violence in Rotary. Tony Corrao was fined for not sitting with his niece, an Interact member.

Winners and Losers... Bob Ryan won the beverage of choice. Bob Ryan also won the money, and Greg Bover won the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
Speakers.... Susan Alexei, Director of the North Shore Aids Project spoke about the spreading epidemic of Hepatitis C. Ellen Nelson was presented a check by Jim Marr for the Historic Burial Ground Committee. Nancy Barlow spoke about the adopt-a-cemetery program now available to local businesses.
Lunch Rating... Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on roll ups, salads, and brownies. The dinners at my table gave the food 5 stars.
