Missed and Missing... Bruce Bain, Mary Black, Greg Bover, Ann-Margaret Ferrante, Sal Frontiero, Bruce Horne, Matt Langis, Kevin McAveeney, David McKechnie, Fran Monedllo, Bruce Nicholls, Dan Ottenheimer, Barry Pett, Marc Sandler, Don Sudbay, Jr., and Todd Tanger.  Today's attendance is 46 present with 5 makeups out of 60 members for an average of 85%.

         Interact members were not present today.

      John Dugger made up in Lynnfield, Scott Chernov and Dave Stotzer both made up at Interact.

 

 

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

    David Babson celebrated his birthday today, no anniversaries were reported today. 

 

Vacations

       No vacations were reported today.

                                                      

Happy Thoughts

    Jon Morse was happy  his son was able to fly out of Hawaii,  Christopher Farmer was happy that David Adams, the GHS music instructor, has finally reconstructed the GHS Marching Band.  Jim Perry was happy to have attended the Rockport Harvest Music Festival, Mike Costello was happy the Essex Clamfest is on again, and Mike was also happy that the new Chamber Gift Fair is all sold out.  John Dugger was happy to have attended a musical.  Julie LaFontaine was happy that the Detroit Tigers are going to the World Series.  Ruth Pino is happy the GDT's did a good editorial on the  park project, the Chamber Gift Show is sold out, the fact that real estate is off 20% on Cape Ann but her office is down just 10%, and lastly she is happy that she will be the Chamber President for 2007 and she was  able to pick the band for her installation in January.  Roger Brisson had a library happy thought.  Tony Corrao was happy to announce  he is going to become a grandfather.Congrats Tony and JoJoe Ciolino was happy that his wife Joan was made a new director of the Sawyer Free Library. 

 

  Fines

    Rudy was fined for wearing the wrong name badge.  Roger Brisson was fined by Acting President Sinikka Nogello for the longest happy thought on record.  Joe Parisi paid a photo fine, Leo Bergeron and Steve Dexter paid a fine for being "snitch" on their fellow Rotarians.  Rotarians with heated steering wheels were fined, and  Acting President Sinikka fined members for not wearing a pin.     

 

    Club News

  •             Thank you Sinikka for filling in for President Don Sudbay  and Vice President Bruce Horne today.
  •           Check out Page 3 in our website photo album. There are newly installed  pictures taken by Brad Pierce the evening of the Past President's Dinner 2006.  Thanks Brad.
  •            Please let me know if you wish to advertise as a sponsor for our web page.  The club uses the ads to defray the cost of our web hosting services.            
  •   Save the Date  December 13, 2006 - Holiday Christmas Party to be held at the Cape Ann Bowling Lanes.

   David Babson is up for next Tuesday's Rotary Moment, Bruce Bain is first backup, and Leo Bergeron  is the second backup.  Please have your Rotary Moment ready. 

    


Winners and Losers...   Josh Arnold  gave a Rotary Moment.  Mr. Smith won the money, and Mike Linquata won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

 


Speakers.... Tom Siemers introduced Dr. Malone, our guest speaker today.  Dr Malone is involved with a new type care being provided called Hyperbolic Wound Care.
