Happy Thoughts
Jon Morse was happy his son was able to fly out of Hawaii, Christopher Farmer was happy that David Adams, the GHS music instructor, has finally reconstructed the GHS Marching Band. Jim Perry was happy to have attended the Rockport Harvest Music Festival, Mike Costello was happy the Essex Clamfest is on again, and Mike was also happy that the new Chamber Gift Fair is all sold out. John Dugger was happy to have attended a musical. Julie LaFontaine was happy that the Detroit Tigers are going to the World Series. Ruth Pino is happy the GDT's did a good editorial on the park project, the Chamber Gift Show is sold out, the fact that real estate is off 20% on Cape Ann but her office is down just 10%, and lastly she is happy that she will be the Chamber President for 2007 and she was able to pick the band for her installation in January. Roger Brisson had a library happy thought. Tony Corrao was happy to announce he is going to become a grandfather.Congrats Tony and Jo! Joe Ciolino was happy that his wife Joan was made a new director of the Sawyer Free Library.
Fines
Rudy was fined for wearing the wrong name badge. Roger Brisson was fined by Acting President Sinikka Nogello for the longest happy thought on record. Joe Parisi paid a photo fine, Leo Bergeron and Steve Dexter paid a fine for being "snitch" on their fellow Rotarians. Rotarians with heated steering wheels were fined, and Acting President Sinikka fined members for not wearing a pin.
