     Preisident Keven Kiely, Jay Smith, and Peter Anderson were visiting from the Rockport Club.

     Rotarians had no guests today.

Interact Club

     Interact members present today were Arron Tibbetts and Lindsey Spreer. Arron spoke a little about himself and his future plans.

      No makeups were reported today.

    The next Rotary Moment will be given by Rudy Macchi, followed by Bill Mantz and Dave McArdle.

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

    Tod Tanger, Barry Pett, Dave Stotzer, and David Babson all celebrated their birthdays today. Charlie Foster is celebrating 48 "wonderfully long" years of mariage.  Sinikka Nogelo is celebrating her 20 year anniversary in local programing.

Vacations

     Don Sudbay Jr. took a business trip to Wisconsin.  Joanne Carbone visited Winton-Salem, North Carolina.  Rudy Macchi went to London.  David Slade went to a family reunion on Martha's Vineyard.  Charlie Foster went to New Hampshire.

Happy Thoughts

      Jim Marr was happy that our new meeting venue has no parking meters to deal with, and as an added plus, it leaves 40 spaces for shoppers to park downtown.  Bruce Horne was happy to have attended a Red Sox game.  Brad Pierce was happy to go to a Pat's game.  Mary Black was happy that her Girl Scott Troop received a tour of the library. Dave McArdle was happy that the library is celebrating its 174th anniversary of it founding.  Also Dave was happy that Greg Bover, and Joe Ciolino are new library cooperators this year. David Slade was happy to have his daughter running in a marathon. Rudy Macchi was happy that Don Thrasher and Mike Costello agreed to be on the Board of Directors of Camp Rotary in Boxford.  Joe Ciolino was happy to see the plans for the library expansion.  

Fines

       Sal Fronterio was fined for his "rolling car" incident in the Elk's parking lot. Members of the Rockport Club were fined for sitting together.  Tony Corrao was fined for interrupting our Interact student during his speech.  Charlie Foster was fined for using the word "long" in reference to his wedding anniversary.

Stage Fort Park Centennial Project

     Please consider signing on as a sponsor!  Gold is $1000, Silver $650, Bronze $400.  All sponsors will be acknowledged on a display at the playground


Winners and Losers... Bruce Horne and John Scuccimara won the beverage of choice.  Greg Bover won the money, and Jim Perry won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

Speakers....  The club had its monthly business meeting and went over Rotary 101, a crash course, as a refresher.

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on salad and baked haddock.  The dinners at my table gave the food 5 stars.  When asked what would improve the meal the diners had no suggestions.
