David Babson, Julie LaFontaine, Barry Pett all celebrated their birthdays today. David Marsh celebrated 38 "wonderful" years of marriage. Joe and Joan Ciolino are celebrating 19, John Dugger is celebrating 10, and Julie Geary is celebrating 2 "wonderful" years. Wonderful congrats to all!
Vacations
Christopher Farmer was happy to take 3 1/2 days off. David Kenney took some time off for some surgery. Carol Sharoff went to New Orleans.
Happy Thoughts
Jim Marr was happy the Red Sox are going to the World Series. David Slade was happy his daughters are all safe from the California fires. Steve Dexter was happy the recent 18 month old Gloucester heart transplant recipient is coming home today. Steve Dexter also donated his winnings in the card raffle to the boy's family. Joe and Di Parisi were happy have to have their children going back to school after a weekend visit. Joe brought up some Sebastian's Pizza to the Gloucester students going to Norwich. Greg Bover was happy to have his family safely on 3 continents. His wife is in Mali, his son is in Helsinki, and of course Greg is home. Christopher Farmer was happy the Gloucester Educational Collaborative Golf Tournament went well.
Fines
Barry Pett was fined for a photo in this month's Elk's magazine. Mike Sarraf was fined for not having a Rotary Moment Ready. President Bruce administered a Rotary Pin fine.

Mike Sarraf is up for next Tuesday's ABC of Rotary Moment, Dave Stotzer is first backup, and Don Sudbay Jr. is the second backup, third backup is David Sullivan. Please have your ABC of Rotary Moment ready.
Winners and Losers... David Slade gave an ABC of Rotary Moment. Barry Pett won the money, and Sue Ellis won the flowers. Steve Dexter won the card raffle today, splitting $2146 with the club.
Speakers....Dr. Richard Segal, Board Certified Physician, spoke about needymeds.com. Needy Meds is a 501C3 non-profit founded in 1997 to help low-income people find the assistance with the associated costs of healthcare.
