    Club News

Thank you Bob Ryan for taking notes for the Rotator this week.

The club's move to the Elk's location went with very smoothly.  Thank you to Cheryl Collins for putting together the move, thank you to Sal Frontiero for handling the legalities, and to Tony Corrao for helping with the PA and setting up.

I have some sad news to convey.  Bruce Horne updated me on the "golf grudge match" between the Gloucester and Rockport golfers.  Gloucester went down in flames.  Last minute cancellations and the lack of replacement golfers led to the defeat. We need to do one of two things - recruit members who can golf, or switch to another sport.  We have given up softball due to the many injuries suffered by both teams at our last game. Golf tournaments require a membership who can golf! The suggestions has been made to switch the "grudge" sport to bowling.  More Rotarians could participate and injuries can be kept to a minimum. Your thoughts?

 Stage Fort Park Centennial Project

Please consider signing on as a sponsor!  Gold is $1000, Silver $650, Bronze $400.  All sponsors will be acknowledged on a display at the playground.

Winners and Losers... No one won the beverage of choice.  Charlie Foster  won the money, and John Scuccimarra won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

Speakers....  Charlie Foster presented to John Scuccimarra, on behalf of the club,  a framed photograph of  club members taken during the last Pancake Breakfast.  The club wanted to show its appreciation to John and Shaw's for all the help given during the Pancake Breakfast, the Super Market Sweep, and all year long.   Todd Tanger gave his  classification speech today.

Lunch Rating...   Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on clam chowder and turkey or roast beef club sandwiches..  The dinners at my table gave the food 5 stars.
