Missed and Missing... Leo Bergeron, Greg Bover, John Dugger, Julie Geary, David Kenney, Ray Lamont, Kevin McAveeney, Dave McKechnie, Jon Morse, John Rando, Dave Stotzer, Dave Sullivan, Becky Sumner, and Todd Tanger.  Today's attendance is 40 present with 2 makeups out of 54 members for an average of 78%.

Interact Club

      Interact members present today were Mikayla Gentile and Shannon O'Donnell.  Shannon spoke about her school activities and future goals. 

 

Makeups

    Brian McCook made up in Springfield, Massachusetts, and Shirley Conway made up online.    

   Rotarians can now make up on line.  Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup.  Please hand  your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted. 

 

 Birthdays & Anniversaries

     Howard Frisch celebrated his birthday today.  Josh and Teresa Arnold are celebrating 23 "wonderful" years of marriage.  Joe Parisi is celebrating  25 "wonderful" of marriage to Di.  (Di is probably celebrating about 5 of those 25 years as "wonderful"...)

 

Vacations

     Christopher Farmer spent a weekend in California.  Ruth Pino went to Jamestown, RI. Tony Corrao went to Las Vegas.  Bruce Horne spent 2 days in Montréal.  Dan Ottenhimer spent 2 days watching baseball in Kenmore Square. 

                                                      

Happy Thoughts

    Sergey Zemlyanski and wife are celebrating the birth of their son, Alex.  Congrats to all. Roger Armstrong was happy that gas is under $3.00 once again.  Roger is also happy that we are all still in business.  Mike Sarraf was happy that Missouri beat the University of Nebraska in a football game last weekend.  (Just an interesting fact - U Mizzou has not won a game in Lincoln since 1978!)  Mike Costello was happy the Chamber is offering a Winter Bird Tour on January 31.Christopher Farmer was happy to complete the Robert Plant - Alison Krauss American Tour.Julie LaFontaine was happy to have a booth this year at the Topsfield Fair. Bruce Horne was happy to have won Best of Show in his category for his bird carvings.  Rudy Macchi was happy to have discovered B'nai Brith.

 

 

 Fines

     President Sinikka issued photo fines to Ruth Pino, Ann-Margaret Ferrante, and Rudy Macchi. Tag and badge fines were also issued by President Sinikka

    

 

    Club News

    President Sinikka  informed the club that a donation to the GHS Thespians for $500 was approved by the board.

Winners and Losers...   Eric Noble gave an ABC of Rotary MomentMarc Grenier won the money, and Marc Sandler won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.
