Birthdays & Anniversaries
President Bruce, John Rando, and Greg Bover celebrated their birthdays today. Matt Langis is celebrating 9 "wonderful" years of marriage.Charlie Foster is celebrating 51 "wonderful" years of marriage. Joe Parisi is celebrating 24 "wonderful" years of marriage. The endurance award this week goes to Di Parisi for being married to Joe for 24 years. (What a sentence!)
Vacations
Josh Arnold went to Maine, David Babson went to Martha's Vineyard. John Dugger spent 4 days in Vermont. David McKechnie went to Fenway Park, 3 days in Cleveland, and 8 days in Florida.
Happy Thoughts
Bob Ryan was happy that after a fine, month long negotiation the CATA drivers agreed to a new contract. Christopher Farmer was happy England beat Australia in a sports match.
Fines
President Bruce fined all Rotarians who did not show up for last week's meeting with our District Governor. Julie Geary was fined for not providing a fish dinner for the District Governor's visit. Jim Marr was fined for trying to run President Bruce's meeting. A Rotary pin fine was administered.

Speakers.... Tracy O'Neil introduced our speaker today, Sue McDermott, who spoke about the HIDE School, a leading institution in teaching character development. The co-ed school was founded in 1966, and has locations in Bath Maine and Woonsocket, Connecticut.
