Howard Frisch was happy to successfully complete his 4th Peer Review with "high recognition".
Mike Costello was happy that Northwestern won last week. (Northwestern lost this weekend. Mike, I can give you some consolation though, Nebraska lost also!)
Joe Paris is still surviving week 2 of wife Di's "vacation". Joe, has the thought crossed your mind that Di might be laying the foundation for her escape? Worth considering.
Greg Bover was happy his son received a 780 in English on his SAT's. Greg was also happy to have his son's portfolio accepted at New York's Pratt Institute. The Bovers had a good week. Congrats.
Ruth Pino was happy that Carlson Gloucester hit the mark of $100mil. worth of real-estate sold in Gloucester.
Jim Marr was happy to have Peter Watson and John Bell at our meeting today.
Lisa Martin was happy to have Terry Segal as her guest today. Lisa was also happy to have been named North Shore Women of the Year. Congrats to Lisa!

Club News
President Greg read a resignation letter from Karl Munch today. Karl has been transferred out of Gloucester by the Eagle Tribune. We all wish Karl continued success in his career and look forward to the day when he will be available to join us again.
Winners and Losers Howard Frisch won the beverage of choice. Steve Kaity won the money and donated it to the Food Bank collection, and Charlie Foster won the flowers. No winners today in the card raffle.
Speakers.... Josh Arnold introduced our guest speaker today, Mayor John Bell. Mayor Bell talked about his first two years in office and what to expect in his second term.
Lunch Rating... Meals will be rated by 5 stars, with 5 stars being the best. Today we dined on chicken Florentine. The dinners at my table gave the food 5+ stars. When asked what would improve the meal the dinners had no suggestions.
