Happy Thoughts

Mike Costello was happy to finally see the new Gloucester train station become a reality, after just a mere 15 years of lobbing.  Mike was also happy to have the Boy Scouts give Joe Paris the honor of being named the Distinguished Citizen of the Year.  Ruth Pino was happy her slot for the membership drive for the Chamber of Commerce is  full.

    Fine

President Jim once again gave out a seat belt fine, and once again the same "pigeons" donated to the cause.  Remember  - wear those seatbelts to the meeting, and always. Seatbelts save lives!

     Club News

President Jim inducted new members Ann Margaret Ferrante and Julie Geary.  Please take a moment to introduce yourself and welcome our newest members.

Yes, we will have a meeting on Tuesday, September 27th.    Past Presidents night is happening at the Harbor Room on East Main (the old Burnham's Yacht Yard) Street this Thursday at 5:30 pm.  David McKechnie will be chairing the event.

Winners and Losers...  No winner of the beverage of choice.  David Olson won the money, and Bob Ryan won the flowers.  No winners today in the card raffle.

Speakers.... A representative from the offices of Campbell Trial Lawyers gave a presentation of the dangers of having underage drinking going on in your home or when procuring a hotel room.  The legal ramifications are as deadly as the loss of life that occurs when enabling these parties.
